THE LEATHER BOYS was directed by Sidney J. Furie (THE ENTITY) and written by Gillian Freeman. It’s a beautiful melodrama that features impressionistic photography, gripping themes, and a bold exploration of identity. For the theatrical trailer, I chose a surf-tinged indie rock library track that still felt era-appropriate. I also shined a light on the queer love story that propels the movie . . . without giving too much away.
