SHE MOB is an underground miracle from Texas that feels like an alt-Earth FASTER PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL! as realized by a young John Waters. Playing off the Blu-ray’s cover art, I created a halftone style for the theatrical trailer that placed 1960s content in a 1980s tabloid style. I chose the obscure girl group song “I’m Never Gonna Cry Again” by Jonna Gault because it perfectly captured the mood — and woman-led theme — of the movie.
