BLEEDING SKULL! A 1990s TRASH-HORROR ODYSSEY (Fantagraphics, 2021) is the second Bleeding Skull book, a collection of almost 300 film reviews celebrating the 1990s trash-horror landscape. Like our first book, this was an equally massive undertaking for our team. But this time around, we worked with an amazing designer at Fantagraphics named Keeli McCarthy. Keeli turned my basic art direction into something stunning.

The design used the basic concept of vintage ‘zines from our first book, but updated it for the 1990s: full color, more neon reminiscent of Christopher Pike paperback covers, and wider variation with design elements.
