Book: A WAITING ROOM OF ONE’S OWN

Company: The Waiting Room Project

Role: Designer

A WAITING ROOM OF ONE’S OWN: CONTEXTS FOR THE WAITING ROOM PROJECT was a companion book to A WAITING ROOM OF ONE’S OWN—a traveling art exhibition that documented women’s health experiences in America. Featuring original essays by scholars, health-care professionals, artists, and writers, the book explores everything from lesbian relationships to racism, from transgender journeys to body dysmorphia. For the design, I utilized a traditional grid and negative space to let the beautiful artworks do the talking.
