Blu-ray: SMUT WITHOUT SMUT: THINGS TO COME + THE DIRTY DOLLS

I initially conceived “Smut Without Smut” as a screening series at the Alamo Drafthouse. For those shows, I edited out X-rated bits from X-rated genre movies. Then I compiled the footage into mixtapes so that the films could be appreciated by R-rated audiences. A few years later, I had the opportunity to bring the series to home video with AGFA. THINGS TO COME and THE DIRTY DOLLS are two previously lost adult films that found new life on AGFA’s Blu-ray release, which includes both “Smut Without Smut” and uncut versions. The cover design places the focus on the beautiful vintage theatrical posters. The slipcover utilizes eye-catching frame captures and elevates the content to a classier level.
